My Story
After all this time, I'm pleased to be back in touch. I left L.A. for St. Paul, Minnesota in 1972 for a career in communications. First in radio as a public radio new reporter and documentary producer, then for more than 15 years, as the principal of a public relations and marketing communications firm. Gave it up in 1998 for a slightly more relaxed life as the director of marketing and communications in the corporate world. Until recently, I was director of marketing and communications for the Minnesota's Private Colleges, the organization representing private, four-year liberal arts colleges and universities in Minnesota (you'll find it on the Web at www.mnprivatecolleges.org).
I was married briefly to Kathy Lewellen, who also attended Franklin. There's something of a tragic story here. I loved her very much. Currently single, I live in Saint Paul, where I have a lovely home and am a "single father" to two miniature dogs, a male miniature pincher, Spud, and a miniature dachshund, Daisy.
