I receied word that Bill Gardener and Elain Hansen have passed away.

John Gascoigne notified us that Pete Allande lost his 1-1/2 year battle with bone cancer on April 2, 2015.

It's been a long time since I posted any news. All my time had been going into the reunion. Now it's over I've been working on the 1961 Almanac, which I posted today. Thanks go to Paula Johnson-Mang for the loan of her Almanac. We now have Almanacs for all 4 years (1961, 62, 63, 64).

I assume everyone knows about the reunion website (franklin1964.myevent.com). It was initially for the reunion but it seems the site will continue for another year so classsmates winter and summer classes) can stay in contact. There are lots of current pictures from the reunion and some 'oldies' people sent in.

I now need to decide if I'm going to maintain 2 seperate websites (the reunion website and this website) or combine them into one. I'll try and figure that out in the next few months. In the mean time I'll update this site with info. relating to the Winter class.

By the way, the reunion was very enjoyable. Had a great time. We did some sightseeing after the reunion. Took us 2 1/2 weeks to drive home.

Grace has been critically injured in a car accident. She is recovering from her injuies, but does not expect to be able to participate in any class activities for now.

I love re-connecting with our friends. I have not seen Marilyn or Sherry since high school. Toni and I got together in 2009 for 3 days of reminiscing. Here is a picture of the 4 of us, taken Saturday. We had a great time.

Sharon (Carson) Padilla has reconnected with Michael Scarratt, who she has known from kindergarten through high school. Mike is living in Payson, AZ.

Yesterday, there was a small get together at Carol (Zepeda) Barragon, home in Eagle Rock. The purpose was to determine the level of interest in a 50th reunion. We talked some business and did a lot of reminiscing. It was a very good time. Henry will send out a summary of the discussion about the renunion.
